1965 Cutlass Gas Tank Replacement

Any recommendations on where to buy a new fuel tank. All the ones that I have seen online don't come with the filler neck.
How does that work? Is the old filler neck removable?

None of the tanks come with filler necks.

Yes. It's attached with solder.
Youtube removal.

You can bring to local radiator repair shop that’s familiar with solder repairs should be able to handle it.

One question, does it have the correct filler neck for Cutlass/F85 or the Chevelle neck?

Fair question. All I can tell you is that their part numbers for Olds and Chevy are different.

I believe it has correct filler for an Oldsmobile.

Thanks for the tip on Autocity Classics. The picture looks correct as the filler neck is slightly bent. I have one coming

If this picture is the tank you bought then the filler neck is wrong.

You have to use your old neck on the spectra tank. That straight neck on the auto city tank is going to hit the trunk floor.

Thanks for the information. I got the tank yesterday. Box says 37J and the neck is curved.
