Happy Holidays from the US of A!
-Dallas, TX that is, where temperatures can easily plunge from 78 to 22 in just 26 hours...

How is the weather over there - getting any big snows yet??
I sure miss it there...

Here's wishing everyone a warmer Christmas than we are having today here in the midwest. 16 degrees is too cold for me.

Christmas Story

Read: Luke chapter 2 to your children, or yourself. That is the Christmas story. The real one. Luke is the third book of the New Testament in "the Good Book" - Marry Christmas always.

So before I get out of here for the long weekend, I just wanted to chime in here one last time in appreciation of this forum...

There are those of you who had helped me out in many ways, whether it was providing parts, advice, laughter, or just encouragement to keep going when times were less than ideal...
--Thank you very, very much and I really do appreciate it!
You all know who you are; I just hope you are reading this...

And to everyone:
Before you all get too engrossed in the holidays; the eating, the gifts, the family & friends, etc, be sure to remember to take a moment to sneak out to the garage (or wherever), and remember that beloved machinery of yours... Whether it has been good to you this year, or has gotten the best of you (or worst), it still deserves a little attention over the hectic holidays!
May the upcoming new year bring us more and more progress on those projects that move us!
Have a very Merry Christmas and a Joyous new year!

And Jamesbo, I assume you have one of these ornaments on your tree, right? Look familiar??
My ladyfriend (the OTRWOMN ) and I were digging through the decorations a few days ago and re-discovered this. I got it back in '97 in hopes to get the real thing...
10 years later, I got one that was "close enough"!

I now have a mission

Happy Holdiays to everyone, Thanks for all of the information, humor, and putting up with me.

You have all made this a great site to visit.

Almost into the new year, so many projects so little time. power windows, new windshied wiper setup and disc brakes for the 57, Have all of the parts where to start? 48 Olds where to start still collecting parts. I will be asking questions as I go. Thanks to everyone on the site who has helped me. Too many to mention all of the names, you know who you are.
