Need advice, how to remove crank pulleys on 1955 324 & 1962 394
Hi All
I've got a couple core engines I'm wanting to break down and have checked. But I don't have a Chassis Service Manual for these vintages. I know the late 1960's I remove the pulleys then use a puller on the balancer. But I don't see any way to put a puller on these except on the outside of the pulleys. Don't want to screw things up so I'm needing some directions from you guys familiar with these engines.

John:
The most difficult part is breaking the bolt loose that holds the balancer on. One you have that out the balancer comes off pretty easy. It is not pressed on. I am sure these have been on there for years so you may have to tap on them a little but they should come off pretty easy. Good luck.
