Not to be callous but what do they expect from a "no prep" event? What little "groove" there was looked to be about 4' wide and he was clearly completely out of the groove before he lifted.

Last report was bumps & bruises and a concussion. Best wishes to Dave and his family for a quick and complete recovery!

Hopefully good recovery but when you're out of the groove and the other car is lengths in front of you already; let out...

Did anyone see the nitrous bottle fly out of the car and spinning through the air with the nitrous blowing out of it? I thought they were secured better than that. I guess that shows how much force he experienced in that barrel roll.

They might be "fake" but these guys have been street racing well before the show like decades. I think its cool they finally get their due but I hate street racing.

Copper i agree with you i hate street racing.Racing belongs at a race track period. Not sure about them getting their due part because they raced on the streets for decades! I think they are trying to glorify street racing which is stupid to the point people can get hurt let alone the guys racing each other. The show is far fetched from the get go with all these trailer queen cars.Okc cops would shut that crap down period real quick if was real. You can't have your face all over the tv without the cops knowing who you are. Around wichita several people have lost their lives racing on the street. Such as a innocent kid who was killed by a dumb guy whose truck jump over a concrete barrier. The kid was just a passenger in it's parents car going down a opposite lane. The road was kellogg and major artery road. Sad this guy messed his car up just goes to show how fast things can and do go south quick.

Sad but true, street racing is bad nowadays, to many innocents could be involved. Back in the day we had CB radios and went out of town, like you should, on a long lonely 2 lane highway, like we did, and count off 4 telephone poles. Take your chances is always a gimme, always has been always will be. There are just so many MORE cars on the roads now is all and makes it all the more dangerous. Streetlight to street light has always been a temptation for me though, ever since I blew away a new Chevy truck in my 69 88 4 dr. in '77 in Plainview TX down 5th street. Ahhh, memories.
Godspeed Daddy Dave. Down but not out.
