I'm in the process of upgrading my '64 Cutlass to disc brakes, air ride, overdrive, AC, etcetera. I would also like to upgrade the dash to have updated gauges in the stock location. I was delighted to see that Dakota Digital has a direct fit gauge package to fit the '66 and '67 Cutlass.



However, when I called them to see if the '64 - '65 dash was in the works, I was told that the car isn't popular enough.

I sent them my Speedo and here is what I got.

 

I just bit the bullet and redid it myself. I cut a piece of 1/8" aluminum to cover the top of the dash and got out my assortment of hole saws.

 

I love the look of the factory speedo,would love to find a replacement that looks factory

 

Dakota Digital will make custom instruments that fit in the original opening. They are beautiful but pricey.
