Steel wheel from 66 or 67?

I pulled this wheel out from storage for another member who never responded back. Any idea what it came from originally? I think I have two of them.

XT was a 14 x 7 HD wheel for the 442 made for 1970, 1971 and 1972.
Chevy had it also for the 1969 cars.

Mike's right. And if you care, that wheel was manufactured on October 7. If that's a "9" to the left of the "10", it was 1969.

If it's in good shape, you're being very kind to offer it for $40. Even if a little rusty, if it's restorable an XT wheel is worth way north of that.

$485 for 2 wheels? WTH? That's crazy. Ed, it will cost me 10 bucks to remove the old tire
and whatever the shipping is. If you can use it it's yours if you want it.

You're wrong. It's not crazy, it's insane.
But, if you notice no one has bought them either.
But, black gold is right, it is worth a lot more than you're asking price.
Did you say you had two?
I'll take 'em. Add the tire removal cost to the total.

And your link was for a pair of "IF" wheels, not "XT". The IF was an alternate on 442s; I'm not sure if the same was true for the COPO Camaros. Regardless, they usually sell for a little less than the XTs.

I haven't been keeping close tabs on the XT market lately. The last time I was buying them (maybe 5 years ago?), good (but not mint) ones sold for $125 - 150 each. A couple months ago I checked the "sold" listings on eBay and saw that the last XT wheel to sell there went for about $250, if I remember correctly (it's since been flushed from the system). I don't remember how perfect it was.

I don't consider these prices insane, considering their rarity. What's insane is how many people want to put plain steel wheels and dogdish hubcaps on their car -- even if it didn't originally come that way.

Easy come, easy go. I'll never use it. Thanks for your honesty Brian.
Looks like your going to get a heck of a deal Ed. I will try to get the total
for you by the weekend.

If you have any more of these, let me know. I am trying to complete a set for my W-31 and the dates on these wheels are perfect for it. Let me know, thanks.
