Thanks for writing. I have a very rare and hard to find factory original cast-iron q-jet manifold. Most were cast aside for aluminum performance manifolds.

Used on a 1966 400cu in & 1969 455cu H/O Oldsmobile engines with the 442 & W-30 Options.
This one came off a 1969 442 with a 455 engine. Casting number 398662 with the all important "J" ID code. There are no cracks or whatsoever. I am asking $850 for it shipped. Price includes UPS shipping from Colerain, NC. Let me know.

Well, that's an optimisitic price, sir.

Reality check:

I can pay around 100 or maybe as much as 200 for a blasted clean to bare cast iron and magnafluxed by a machine shop. And delivered to 48911.

AFTER I get done changing them to the ultra rare J-405233 version used only on the 1969 H/O [which takes about two weeks of plugging away at it after work each day], -if- they have no cracks, then I *might* get near $800. Much of which goes to epay and paypal.

Also, the J-398662 intake was used starting in 1968, ending 1969, and was used on ALL RWD big block Olds except the aforementioned 1969 H/O, which required the PCV boss and nipple as you see in my ad. All the 88's with 455, all the 98's, all the 442's, all the '68 H/O's, even the BB Vista Cruiser. So.... rare... not so much. Not used before 1968 at all; the "E" casting was used prior to the J.

Every time I put something on Craigslist I get two to three immediate responses. The say that they are ok with the price and want my address so they can send me a check and will arrange pickup after payment is complete. It doesn't matter what I'm selling, I get the same responses.
