what year are these seats?

These seats came with my recent purchase. Curious what years they wold have been used? they are in pretty decent shape, have a strange pattern stitched in.

1969-72 GM A-body cars. I don't recognize the stitching pattern so they're likely out of something other than an Oldsmobile. But with Olds seat covers they'd work fine. If you don't choose to use them they're in pretty high demand. You might touch base with Ben to see if he would swap you some 1966 seats for these.

I could talk to him, im kinda on the fence with whether or not i want original style seats or something newer as it will be a daily. i drove a 62 with stock seats for a while before swapping in newer seats, after the swap it completely changed the feel and i enjoyed driving it better. thanks for the answer

Those are 1971/72 Chevelle Bucket seats / covers.

The frames & tracks are the same for all 69-72 GM A-bodies.

Any GM "strato" bucket seat covers from 66-72 will fit on them. So if you wanted, you can easily make those into stock appearing seats, just buy the covers and buns and away you go.

They've been covered, I'll guess sometime in late 70s-early 80s, with some of that "crazy quilt" vinyl that was popular back then. Mama had a handbag made out of that stuff.

But yeah, they'll be an easy sell or trade.
