bench seat question

I lucked out a local scrap yard today, and found a complete 72 Supreme.
I removed all the interior and was wondering if this bench seat (A65), was available in the W30....or was it only the standard bench(A52) that was available?
Also, I found two broadcast sheets under the backseat...wondering what RPO code C49 was?
thanks,
Ted

Ted,
Nice score! That bench seat with the fold arm rest was only available in the Cutlass Supreme coupe, Supreme 4 door, or convertible. The F85, Cutlass S post or coupe or 442 came with the split bench with no arm rest.

Ted, yes it was available for a 72 W30, but in the Cutlass Supreme convertible only. Contrary to public opinion not all W30's were bucket seat/console cars.

C49 is rear window defogger (electric grid on rear glass). Get the dash plate, and all the wiring for it. They're scarce. There is also part of the wiring that goes to the front of the firewall. Check your 72 Assembly manual = it has a great picture showing the wire routing.

That's what I like about the 66-67s, all of the show, being the Supremes, and all of the go, being the 442s.

Have to admit I like the 66/67 models a lot too. Learned to drive in a 67. Wasn't a 442 but it did have plenty of go.
