New Toy as well

Last night I traded my origianl high mileage worn Olds 350 for a complete 1969 Chevy 3 door Suburban. Has its rust but it is not as bad as I would have thought. Was running when parked 7 years ago. The wife will accent it with some pink to pull her 1962 Shasta trailer her and her sister just restored. I will get some pics!

Wow, our family spent many a night in one of those, sans all the pink stuff. The old Shasta's have quite the following.

Amarillo Huh? That 72 in your avatar looks like one I bought up there
years ago. Lived in Canyon and worked at OCF. Small world.
Looking forward to the story and the pics.

71 family heirloom. I have the original title and owners manual. 455 under works until I found this suburban but couldn't pass it up for something almost running. Small world! Where do you live now? My father in law just picked up a 58 comet and he drives a 58 Cabelero buick wagon. His trailer is in a million pieces still lol

Years ago, there was an old 2 story apt at the
corner of Bell and the E-way across from Nona's cafe.
There was a 72 sat there for about 3 years before I bought it.
I think both buildings have been demolished for the last 15 or 20 anyway.
I worked for a while at Nona's when I was 16 or 17.
We have been in Marble Falls for about 23 yrs or so. I left Owens in '89.

Oooo. Lake Tangelwood. Someone's Sh**ti'n in tall cotton, nice.
Back in the day, the only way to get in there was an invite.

The lakes down here have been hurting from the drought over the years.
However, Lake LBJ and Lake Marble Falls are constant level, so it's been
pretty sweet and we are only 2 blocks from the ramp and aren't subject to
waterfront property taxes. I need to pull the lower unit off my Johnson
and replace the impeller and I will be ready for the Fall fishing run.
Have you got a chance to fish Tangelwood yet?
