My A/C system in my Ram (I know its not an Olds) will not blow cold all the time. I hooked up my gauges and when the compressor clutch engages the high side gauge pegs out at 500 while the low side starts dropping but never gets to specs for the temp outside. When it disengages the high side pressure drops dramatically fast. I'm not a technician by trade but I'm thinking that the orifice tube might be bad or the system is partially clogged. Thoughts from anybody in the know.
