I have a 68 Cutlass S that has a hood with no louvers like most 68's. Were there different hoods that year, or is the hood I have from something other than a 68???

 

There were 2 hoods used in 68, the Cutlass S/442 hood with the raised center part and louvers and the flat hood (actually, with a recess in the middle) without louvers used on the F-85, four doors, and wagons. Sounds like yours has been changed at some point.

 

Thanks for that information. That is what I suspected, but wasn't sure . Looks like I'll be searching for a hood.
