Yard cars

Not much work can be done
in the cold weather. Cabin fever hit,
so I thought I would snap a few shots
while driving around in a little town
over from me.
I know everyone digs pics, so I figured
why not?

I remember the days of knocking on
front doors, wanna sell it?

I'm not sure what the old 2 door
was, but it has been in that yard
for years.

The owners are going to restore all those cars. Just ask them. Pretty sad in most cases.

What cold weather? Looks like a nice autumn day to me. The grass is still green, fer Gawd's sakes.

I know, I know...short sleeve weather
for you guys. 28* here, makes it a little
a little tough to clean windows.

18F here and I had to clean the car windows this morning ... pretty much every morning for that matter

Them's some sweet yard art right there. It would make it kinda tough to convince the missus that your 'rare, antique' car needs to be kept tho, when there's rare old cars all around you.

Woohoo. We're above zero today! Hopefully some of this white stuff will liquify and head your direction.

I love hitting some smaller towns and looking at the yard art. Just waiting for the right deal.

Nice pictures! I enjoys seeing them but hate thinking about the cars rusting away more and more each year. I have snapped many of these type pics in my travels, some even worth a turn around.
Like this one I spotted in California in 2009. It was along the OLD 101 right before it merged onto the new 101, south of Ferndale.

I went by there again in 2011 and did not remember seeing it. I hope it found a better home.
