One tiny correction. #09-734, Royal Oldsmobile (where my Custom Cruiser was originally sold), is in Charleston, West Virginia (without the W), not Charlestown. There actually is a Charles Town, West Virginia. It's spelled with two words, and it's a different city in the West Virginia panhandle.
Here's the full address of Royal Oldsmobile. I noticed you didn't have that, either.
It's still there, doing business as a Chrysler products dealer.

Here's one I didn't see on your list. It was taped to the window of a '50 Olds I saw at a car show a few years ago. Not a window sticker, but rather a dealer invoice. No dealer number is shown (that I can see), but the name, address, and phone number (WEbster 9111) are clearly visible.
Not sure if your list includes every Olds dealer that ever existed or just those that were in business when the brand was discontinued.
I opened in another window, and got it. A correction for Roh Motor Sales in Grand Rapids, Mi. Where you have it marked Roh?, it should be "Rowe". Thanks for taking the time to put this together.

It's interesting to do a google street view of the addresses of some of these dealerships and see what's there now. Some of course still exist as dealerships selling other brands, but not all. I looked up Hall's Oldsmobile in Brooklyn. There's a wig-making shop there now.

From an early '60s suburban Rochester newspaper.
The founder and owner, Philip J. Lanzatella (from which "Philanz" was derived), wrote a column for the Webster (NY) Herald in which he would work in a pitch for his dealership. This is from August 16, 1962. I love the old-style "exchange" phone number. CO 6-2900. "CO" stood for "Congress," so this number would often be read as "Congress six, two nine hundred".

TK-65, I just checked your list - thanks! I see that Empire Olds in Denver was not captured. It used to be at the corner of Colfax Avenue and Kalamath Street, 6160 E. Colfax Ave, in Denver, 80220. I have no idea what the dealer number, or other info may be.

My dad also bought several Oldsmobiles from Philanz. 66 Toro, 69 W car, 70 C, 71 CS, 79 CS, 81 Toro. I remember dad talking with Mr. Lanzatella a few times. I remember walking by his office. I'd be grabbing all the factory sales literature I could carry laid out on a table in the showroom.
Dad would ultimately always settle on a year or two old used car. The used car building was separate from the main. It was on the east side of the lot close to Ridge road. Reminded me of a small job site portable trailer, held 3 salesmen and a coffee pot.
He knew one of the used car salesmen well and bought most of the Oldsmobiles off of him. Beginning with the 66 Toro. He traded a sweet 65 Impala SS Vert for the Toro. I remember him revving the Toro while I stood at the rear listening to the dual exhaust 425.
The dealership sign at the road was a huge rocket pointing at a 45* angle. Controversial too as he was sued for zoning violations. It stood there till the dealership faded away a good 20+ years ago. I think it closed around 99 or 2000 (bankrupt). Would love to have this sign today.
B&B Olds was on Lake Ave. (Bonenblust & Buckman, Inc. 340 Lake Ave).
Can't figure out how to get the attachment to open directly here? Someone may be able to do it?

My dad bought multiple cars from Philanz and in 1970 he ordered an Azure Blue Toronado GT and didn't take he bought a Buick Riviera. I commissioned this painting done by Dave Snyder and if you look closely you will see that Toro in the background he has since made prints for sale
My '68 Cutlass was purchased originally from Collins Olds by my dad's neighbor, who sold it to dad in '74, I'm the 3rd owner now, purchasing it from dad in '81, so I know where this car's been since new (and I remember drooling over it when it was still owned by dad's neighbor as a young boy). Collins Olds was located at 4801 Coldwater Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46825, it is now a Hyundai dealership. The story I remember dad's neighbor telling is that he was on the way home from the lake driving past the dealership and spotted my Cutlass sitting on the showroom floor and it caught his eye. He stopped, went in to look at it, fell in love and drove it home. This must have been in the fall of '67 shortly after the '68s hit the showrooms as I know my Cutlass was built in the fall of '67. This story is poetic in a way since I made my first new-car purchase in '98 when I bought my '98 Trans Am WS6 'vert that was also sitting on the showroom floor when I drove up to the dealership (Curtesy Motors in Decatur, IN) to buy it. Stranger yet is the fact that my current residence sits about a 5-iron shot east of Coldwater Rd / US 27 (about 5 miles north of where Collins was).

Anyone happen to know what the dealer number for Rockcastle Cadillac Oldsmobile in Covington Ky should be? My car was bought at this dealer and I have a bunch of the history and some paperwork but no dealer number that I can see. I purchased the car just south of Covington where this dealership was till 1998 when it was sold. The new dealership still sells cadillacs but they have no clue what their number was, they said by law they only have to keep paper work 7-10 yrs I guess. Matt
