Building 70 Olds HQ now wrapped in Cadillac

http://gmauthority.com/blog/2013/05/...sing-michigan/

"The five-story, glass and aluminum portion of the building, commonly referred to as Olds Building 70, was completed in 1966. The property was home to Oldsmobile sales, service, and administrative operations before those functions were relocated to GM’s current global headquarters at the Renaissance Center in Detroit.

For those interested in visiting the wrapped building and/or Lansing Grand River Assembly (perhaps for a tour), the address is as follows:
920 Townsend Street
Lansing, Michigan 48933

The GM Authority Take

What a great-looking wrap! In fact, The General should consider doing something similar to a (a part of a) skyscraper in a bustling metropolitan area for the sake of advertising.

And even though it’s anything but, we’re going prefer to refer to the wrap as a hostile takeover. Just because."

Chris, did anyone save the OLDSMOBILE signage? Thought I heard someone was trying to.

I saw that in person yesterday! The wife and I went down there for the GM ride and drive, between three local dealers and the Lansing Grand River assy, you could pretty much drive anything GM. We mainly drove Cadilacs looking hard at the ATS for next purchase.

Rocketraider, the OLDSMOBILE letters went to the R.E. Olds museum.
