Help! I ordered a heater core (apparently the wrong one) for my 72 Cutlass (with air) several years ago from the Parts Place in Chicago. And of course, I am just now getting to installing it in the car and guess what, it appears to be the wrong one. Guess who won't take it back on a return...

So, does anyone know what application it works for? The pictures below show its size in relation to my hand and this core appears quite a bit smaller than the one I took out of my AC flapper box underneath the dash for an AC car.

Is this for a non AC car? Is it for an earlier generation car?

 

It is not for a A/C car for sure.
