Parts for '64 88

Where can i find resto parts for my '64 dynamic 88? I've been able to find parts here and there but no solid source of just olds parts from this year. I'm looking for a place like classicindustries or yearone who just has everything i will ever need for my dynamic 88. I've got weatherstripping covered and a radiator shop looking at my radiator but what happens if i need body panels where do i go?

Best source is a junk yard. If you have space, get a parts car- it will make life easier.

For new parts try Fusick's.

Bad as I hate to recommend the money-grubbers, ebay is a good place to find them. Just make sure you double check the part #s with someone here who has a parts book before you go spending big bux.

Parts is a pretty generic term. The kind of part needed can help in directing one's search. Rest assured, they are out there.

Correction. The ONLY source is a junkyard. Body, trim, and interior parts for the full-size Oldsmobiles are not reproduced. Whatever you get has to come from another car or be an NOS piece someone posts for sale.

Fusick can help on mechanical parts, but their selection for the big cars as compared to the Cutlasses is limited to the basics, and their prices tend to be among the highest in the land. For selection differences, all you need to see on this is the relatives sizes of their two catalogs. Their current big car ('61-'75) catalog is 41 pages. Their current Cutlass catalog is 111.

For mechanical parts, I would start first with your local auto parts store. Whether it's NAPA, Autozone, O'Reilly, or whatever, they can often get parts, even if they're not regularly stocked, and you generally don't pay shipping, only the local sales tax, if any. The websites for these chains is a good place to do some comparison shopping. Rockauto.com is another good, online source for parts, and, in my experience, they tend to be less expensive.

I've also had very good luck getting hard-to-find parts from this source:

Thanks guys. I was hoping for an aftermarket like there is for my nova and vette but I guess these cars are a bit hard to find. Junkyards around me crush old cars. My car is 99% complete just missing the pass rocker trim cap on the rear qtr. Thanks again

Hey Kid64 and Mobileparts
I have a 64 88 and parts have been available. Engine, steering , emblems, decals and misc. items I get at KANTER, U.S Autoparts and the local parts store. Body parts have been a challenge! I have replaced the starter, water pump, radiator, belts and hoses, gaskets of all types, timing chain, fuel pump, lights, ...I have even been able to get the exact paint color ( both spray cans and quarts). On a side not..the old gal has a ton or power so fun to drive!
Mobileparts...I need some parts, specifically the door switchers for interior lights. I can't find the correct ones. I have an electric antenna that is shot...do you have one.
Thanks

Unlike Novas and Vettes, the full size Oldsmobiles are not popular resto projects and thus there is little profit for a resto company to invest in tooling and inventory of repro parts. As noted above, some normal wear parts, like suspension, steering, and brakes, can be found at auto parts stores or specialty vendors like Kanter. Upholstery material and door panels can be gotten from SMS, but it will be expensive and take a long time since these are pretty much made to order. There is no repro sheet metal available EXCEPT possibly rockers, because those are the only parts common with impalas. Some trim and emblems are available from Fusick, but again that's very limited. Good used or NOS are your only other options.
