road trip pics from Grants Pass Oregon
Back from the big North West, great road trip, fun car show and long cruse.Car ran great the entire time, we put in a little over 600 miles not counting the cruse(longest I've ever been on ) which lasted a little over three hours! We pulled out after two hours and that felt like we had been there most of the day. This was a super venue the show was held in a huge park bordered by the Rouge river with shade trees for all but the late comers. The temp was in the eighties with a little breeze at times and I heard the attendance was 537 so a pretty good sized show. I found about four other Oldsmobile's all of them high end restorations that would knock your eyes out some are listed below.
# 1 pic is from out the front windshield looking at Mt Lassen
#2 is a clean 56, looking good in black and white
#3 is a screw up double( don't know how that happened)
#4 is one of the best 56' verts I have ever seen, BBC powered though
#5 is a rare 50 vert still powered by a built 303 with a 700r trany, very cool.
More to follow....As I get them resized...Tedd

A few more pics
I dropped in a few more that caught my eye or were of my ride...
The first is that beautiful venue, like a walk in the park, which it was.
The second is my ride with the ribbon in the windshield designating to all I received an award, thank you Grants Pass people.
The third is the Grants Pass police force.Ah not all of them though.
The fourth is a different shot of the front of my ride.I liked it.
The fifth is a neat gangster ride this is somewhat like what I would like to build next time if it ever happens.
Hope you enjoy......Tedd
