Any difference between 68-72 inner front fender wells?

I’ve got this debate with 2 another fellow Olds enthusiasts.
The debate is...is there any difference between 68-72 black plastic inner fender wells?
And did 67s come with both plastic and metal? If plastic were they the same as 68-72?

67 is not the same and came in plastic or metal, plastic were mostly on 4 doors or wagons from what i am told. the 68 and 69 are the same but differant from 70-2 to the best of my knowledge. i have a couple sets from a 70 that don't have a ridge on the top like 71-72 does but i have exchanged 70-72 inners in the past and all worked with each other.

The biggest difference between the 68-69 and 70-72 inner fenders is the wheel opening shape. The fenders are different and the inner fenders are obviously matching to the outer fenders at the wheel opening.

As for 67s, there might have been 500 or so cars that got red plastic inner fenders..
