1970 Pace Car striping
Did any 1970 pace cars, track, press, etc. have the Y74 stripes painted on as opposed to decals? Did the factory originally paint Y74 car stripes and only decals were available afterwards?

All 70 pace cars originally used decals. The History center has factory pictures of the first two pace cars and when you study the pics closely you can see where the decal sections overlap. ~BOB
