Dave, looks impressive as all get out! Where did you find the W27 axle? I didn't think they were available for 72.

It is actually the drum-to-drum out of my '69 W-31. The W-31 has a "built" rear in it now, and I figured I'm not selling either one of these cars so I put the 3:91 in the '72. It is NOT a W-27,just painted to appear as such. The green car is close to being finished (are they ever REALLY FINISHED). It should be a real fun car to drive---mild 350 (@300hp), M20 (252 1st gear) and 3:91Anti-Spin; plus some "GOOD" suspension pieces and brakes. Thanks for the interest and comments.

Very, very nice! I really like the color especially with the gold stripes. Great job. Brings back memories and nightmares from my resto.

So, the question is when going out to the garage, how do you decide which one you are going to drive? Very nice cars!

Thanks for all the compliments and encouragement, guys and gals. I'll try to take some "new" photos of the '69 W-31 and post them now that FINALLY am learning how to do it. That's the car in he background under the cover on jack-stands. I was supposed to race it tomarrow at Cecil County's Nostalgia Day, but I MUST attend a graduation party. My wife is SO good about me and my cars, I COULDN'T say no to her. I will have the '69 at the upcoming York U.S. 30 Reunion. If you like nostalgia drag racing---DON'T MISS THAT SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Extremely late to the party, but just saw this and had to comment. There isnt a lot to this thread but the few pics that are show the quality of work is outstanding, lifting the bar! Beautiful car!

I always remember you because you offered and sold me my first part to my car when I started restoring it at a pretty good deal... and were super friendly to the new guy👍👍
