2 questons

'70 Cutlass convertible

1) Is there suppose to be only one guide pin on this car for the convertible top? Drivers side only?

2) Does anyone know where I can send my inside rear view mirror to get fixed? The glass is broken.

Thanks

Dont know that model particularly but all of the converts Ive owned
had pins on both sides. (Ford/Chrysler/GM)

I just got a 62 F85 and have been able to put the top down once
so far. Getting it back up was a real hassle because all the linkage
pivots need to be lubed. The off side wouldnt extend and line up
right. Had to pull like crazy to get the right guide pin into its hole.

Yours too may need the linkage lubed and someone has removed
the one guide pin just for 'convienence'. Not good.. Should have
both.

Now does anyone know what kind of lube would be best for the
pivots ??? (Im guessing plain ole 30wt - OK)

About the mirror, might be easiest to just get a replacement.
