All you need is that heavy thick clear plastic cover to put on the seats I've actually seen a couple cars with beautiful seats due to those seat covers. John

 

I always liked those clear vinyl floor mats though I don't think GM ever offered them as factory or dealer installed. Ford did, in all their interior colors.

Now all you can find are flimsy clear vinyl, or mats in some shade of gray or beige.

I still think part of the problem with new car sales is their total lack of interesting colors.
