Wildwood Classic Boardwalk Car Show Pictures

Here are some pictures from the Wildwood, NJ Classic Car Show this weekend. The weather was kind of bad - but the torrential downpours they where talking of held of and we just had a drizzly day on Friday, and Saturday was actually pretty nice. The judges told me I got beat out by the 67 442 in the Olds category - but not by much. Damn - so close and my very first show with the car. I'll get em next year!

I walked the boards on Friday - I know there where about 250 more cars there on Saturday, but I hung out with my car all day - so I know I didn't get pics of all of the attending vehicles, but as usual - not very many Oldsmobile's there.

First - My 71 Cutlass S

Great pics!! Looks like some really nice cars there. And what a setting! Shame about the weather though. I'd like to see boardwalks sometime. My daughter would have liked those coasters and rides, lol! Thanks for posting them!

As each car goes up on the boards they have a pro photographer take pics of each car. You can then buy anything from t shirts to posters with that pic. Since it was my first show I had to buy one - I got it scanned this morning thought I'd add it to the thread.

The Boardwalk shows are pretty awesome. The amount of people there Saturday was staggering - that's why I put in the crowd shots - Next year I will have to go up on the big ferris wheel and take some shots that show how far the cars stretch down the boards. With over 500 cars there - they stretch for several miles. It is a VERY long walk from one end to the other. I think the highest amount of cars ever at one of these was over 1300!

What a great picture!!! Your car is very beautiful!!! That would be a nice pic for the Olds calendar. That's a lot of cars to have at a show, wow! I bet that is a long walk. I'd be afraid to go on that ferris wheel, it's so big! But it would be a great view of the place. There are a lot of those boardwalk places in New Jersey aren't there??

I think every coastal town in New Jersey has a Boardwalk. We have 127 miles of coastline and I think almost 75 miles of boardwalks.

My car can't even begin to compare to your's. Did you put an addition on to your house yet to hold all the Trophies Teepo has won? I only hope to someday have a ride that nice!

Thank you for the compliment, but I'm sure your car is just as nice as Teepo, lol! No I haven't got that addition built yet, but I'm going to have to, lol. I've been looking at cabinets, and boy are they expensive! I keep watching e-bay and Amazon. I'm running out of places to put the awards. I've started setting them in the spare room, but would really like to get them under cover so the dust doesn't get too bad. My little knick knack cabinet is full!!

Someday I would like to go to NJ and see those boardwalks. Steve (my boss here at work) goes to Atlantic City all the time. He and his wife really like it there. My husband isn't much of a "water" person. But I tell him he doesn't have to go in the water, just look at it, lol!
