OK, I just joined this forum a week or so ago....

and said I would post some pics. Here are a few of the Cutlass in the garage. I will get some better ones later on. This car originally had a creme vinyl top and was a mint or apple green (you Olds guys with the color charts could probably give me the exact color it was). When dad had the car repainted, as you can see, he had the vinyl top trim put back on, but didn't replace the top. What would you guys do? I am thinking about putting a black vinyl top on it, but would like some opinions. Hopefully the pics come through, haven't posted pics here before. Any thoughts on the top would be helpful.

Thanks,
-kph

Thanks! Speaking of wheels, never was a big fan of ET slotted mags....anyone have a spare set of 14 x 7 Olds rallys sitting around that they aren't using?

A black top would look classy. the trim without the top looks out of place. Nice lookin ride.

CQR: Thanks for your opinion and compliment. I think it looks out of place too, and thought a black top would look pretty cool on it. Thanks again!

Cutlassgal: Do you have some snaps of your ride somewhere so I could see it?

14 x 7 are easy to find but hard to ship. Check your local craig's list.

The molding looks awkward with the Chevelle (70 Pace Car) stripes going under them, but not a big fan of vinyl tops either.
