Question Has anyone added rear seat belts to their ride?

Blue Belle only had front seat belts factory installed.

Has anyone put seat belts into a coupe or convertible?

Just want someone to hold my hand!

Your car should already have at least the mounting holes already drilled for rear belts. Even my 62 F-85, which had no seatbelts from the factory, had the front and rear belt mounting points drilled and plugged under the carpet. You should be able to see the plugs from the bottom of the car. In the case of my F-85, the front belt mounting locations had the welded reinforcement and threaded fitting already installed, so all I had to do was get the correct bolts (Grade 8, 7/16-20 thread) and bolt the belts in place. The rears were only drilled holes, so I'll need to get the thick oval reinforcement washers in addition to bolts and nuts.

I have the rear seat out to inspect and paint some light surface rust, and I saw ONE hole on each side with a plug! Do you think they attached BOTH belts with a larger dia. bolt?

My front, retractable, belts have tags sewn onto them saying "Harrison" and some place near Detroit. I know that Thompson Products (Now TRW) supplied the GM belts for years. My belts do have the Fisher Body "Coach") on the buckle.

I'm getting my rear belts from an online supplier that sells the nuts, bolts, and the washers in a kit for $2.99. http://www.seatbeltplanet.com.;)

Thanks for the input, Joe!
