8 years and counting...

It's been 8 years since I bought my '72 U code Supreme, and it still brings a smile to my face every time I slide behind the wheel, hit the key and take it out for a spin.

Here's what it looked like when I brought it home 8 years ago...

And this is now.

Congrats, newbie! I’m pushing 40 years with mine and still love driving it to work, grocery store, and whatever.

Dave - Finding happiness and enjoying life is what it’s all about. Happy for you. There are no dress rehearsals - we get one chance at it. Enjoy.

... Were those Mopar scoops? They look like something off a Challenger or something.

Doc.

Regardless, getting rid of them was a big improvement. Ditto the wheels. Headlight surrounds are also an upgrade. Now about that black bumper...

Curious as to why you added the 4-4-2 grille emblem.

It's not just the emblem, it's the whole grille, and I wanted the more aggressive look of the 442 grille....(no "cloning" intended.)

Dave, you've done well with bringing a nice Day Two vibe to the car.

And I see the infamous black bumper was from the previous owner.
