Does anyone have an NOS Rallye 350 tail light lens they could take a picture of? I am trying to figure out if the center silver area is the same as the cutlass silver area. For decades I thought the silver on the Rallye lens was a different shade than the Cutlass but not sure how I come up with that.

I would be willing to by an NOS one if there was one out there for sale.

 

Are you talking about the ones that have the small chrome trim around the inside ring? Versus the ones that are just painted silver? I’ve always wondered about those.
I believe that the few remaining original ones that came with my car didn’t have any paint on them at all

 

No, the silver painted ridge in the center. The Supreme has the stainless trim on it but the Cutlass and Rallye had that ridge painted. I want to know if it is the same color between them. Like the grill, the S grills are not the same color as the silver on the Rallye grills.

 

Interesting. Never knew that. I had always assumed it was just “grill silver”.
Mine came with a ton of plastic pieces missing.
