Fall Carlisle...who's going?

I was specifically wondering if anyone from the Michigan/Ohio are was going?
I have a rear panel that I'm bringing to the show from Florida that needs to get out there to one of our Oldsmobrothers.
Could be worth some gas money.

See ya there peeps!

Cant miss Carlisle! Always hoping for great weather, typically the Fall event is a bit smaller vendor wise but plenty to hunt thru. I need to pick up some windlace for the 67 project.

I attended Carlisle this Spring. Nice to as its the first car event following the long Winter here. This Fall I'll probably go to Hersey.

I REALLY wanted to go this year but it looks like the timing isn't going to work for me. I was trying to time it to match a trip we planned to head down and sell a piece of property in the US. Unfortunately this was probably my last opportunity and I'm pretty bummed about that.

Spring was awesome this year. Since COVID, the swap meet seems to have been growing. It's not up to the 1990s and early 2000s levels, but it's much better attended than it was 10 years ago. People were actually walking out with parts, not just trinkets, for a change. Fall is unfortunately still smaller than Spring, but we usually do pretty well. Of course, for us it's more of a social event than a real attempt to make money - especially given how much I buy rather than sell.

Oldsmaniac…there’s usually a guy that sells windlace down from gate 3…but he said it’s getting harder and harder to find.

I’ll see you there Joe.

If anyone needs anything ‘65…hit me up.

Joe, I know you couldn't possibly know exactly but do you think there's anything '66 Toronado related there? I'm always looking for oddball and specific parts for my car like seals, transmission parts, bearings, etc. Things that are extremely difficult to find otherwise. Is this the kind of stuff you can expect to find there or is it more A body than anything?

My friends and I have our usual 3 spaces (IH 74-76) and will have assorted Olds stuff and other odds and ends.

Where’s your space Scott? Near Dana Ludwig(thanks Bill!) and Bob Moyer?

We’re in IH 74-76. Just a few rows up from the stage and manufacturers midway. I believe the area is called the midfield.

I think those guys are at the other end of the row nearer the car corral.

Not sure if I can make it. It will have to be a last minute thing. Maybe find some wall hanger stuff to sell at my spot in an antique store. Probably talk to some chrome people about a rear bumper for my 65 “442”.

Actually that's the Infield (hence the "I" in the space numbers). Up on the hill is the North Field ("N" spaces) and they broke off the spaces on the west side of the North Field and renamed them West (W).

Just got back! It was considerably smaller as far as vendors go compared to Spring 2025. It was a beautiful day weather wise! I got my windlace and a 67 A body front hood lip molding. Saw the typical misc. mix of Olds parts that are usually found and a few of the mostly Olds parts vendors. Had conversation with a C O Olds friend Scott and company which was very nice. Overall a great day !

Actually the weather has been phenomenal and looks to be that way for the rest of the week. Haven't been selling much but scored some great buys, including a brand new set of Hooker 3901s for cheap, another Saginaw three speed with OD for $100, new padded A-pillar covers for the 69 wagon, a complete Hoppy headlight aiming set for $10, and a number of other tools. Also picked up a rebuild kit for the Saginaw and a couple of Type O kits from Gevo's. I've got my eye on grill for my 66 442, waiting for the price to drop on Saturday. Also saw a fairly complete Seville EFI intake for the SBO, but I already have one. Missed Peter twice in two days because I was off stimulating the economy.

Oh, by the way, stop by IO13-16 if you need correct bell-mouth drums for the 65-70 full size cars.
