Curious what shift sticks you've found to work best for you. I currently have a Tremec TKX which has the stub from the transmission centred on the tunnel. I used a Hurst 5387236 shifter which is 11.12" tall, has zero offset and only 2.25" layback. This brings my hand and sometimes the shift handle (Hurst T style) into contact with the lower dash for 1st, 3rd and 5th, with a fair bit of reach (I'm 6' 2" tall and have to lean a bit with my arm extended) to plunk into 5th.
I'm thinking the Hurst 5387436 might be what I need, but I don't have one handy to verify. This version advertises 10.18" tall, 2.18" offset towards the driver and a 4.73" layback. I think this would bring the handle to a more natural position for the driver.
