I just took a closer look at #13 and those are 55 Buicks.

Richard for a youngster you did very good. I can remember knowing all the cars before I was 10. Could you imagine trying to do that now.

Too many swap meets as a little kid for me LOL. I knew I would not be more than a year or two off on any of them.

I agree with redoldsman with the following changes:

#11: 48 Pontiac (Silver Streak emblem on hood)
#13: 55 Buick (55 portholes round, 56 portholes oval)
#14: 56 Studebakers (look close at truck - 56 grille)
#15: 50 Packard (major restyle in 51)

Hey NMCarNut, I did this without looking at any books and I did go back and catch myself on the Buick. However you did make me smarter on the Buicks about the portholes. I realized they were 55's buy the taillights and front bumper. Those 55-56 Buicks were some neat cars. I especially like the Century which was the counterpart of the Olds Super 88. Thanks for setting me staight. I need a lot of that.
Jamesbro, I couldn't even name all the manufacturers now. Of course we have less than we did a few months ago.

I think my favorite styling is the 50 Packards, followed closely by the 51 Mercs.
You guys are incredible. Thanks for the info on these old cars.

My folks had a 51 Merc 4-door and a 53 Ford at the same time. I can remember my dad getting rid of the Merc because of the gas mileage. The Merc was an automatic and the Ford was a 6-cylinder with overdrive. My dad really loved the Ford. Several years ago I found one it a swap meet exactly like it, same colors (2-tone green) and a 6-cylinder. It was in need of a total restoration and cheap. Unfortunately my dad had passed away several years prior or I would have bought it. He would have been thrilled. At some point we also had a pea green 51 Studebaker as a second car.

Without books, eh, well you just dated yourself, very impressive! I was a gearhead from before I could walk, and also lucky growing up around Oldsmobiles. My impressionable years included dad trading in their 50 '98 2 door hardtop (ooh, do I wish that one was still around) on a '53 98 sedan, grandma's 50 fastback, and the next door neighbor's new 55 Super 88 sedan, two tone green. Oops, just dated myself also . . .

It would be neat to have one of those old cab over trucks as a car hauler with a 455 tucked in it. I've seen a few around and they are cool. Neat post. I remember all of those cars. Naming cars was a game we played when on trips in my dad's Packard's

Way before my time too but based on the answers, I did get a few right. I was just enjoying the cars and the trailer pictures. I'll have to show my 3 year old, he loves old cars already. (Hopefully the old car nut gene passed on)
