I picked up reproduction fiberglass scoops years ago and slowly gathered all the parts for the rest of the OAI system over the years. Once everything was installed the scoops weren't playing nicely with my 225/70/15's. They hit so hard on a low speed turn that it would almost stop the car. I could have gotten smaller tires but......
Many years ago a friend and I put a set of old school keystone classic wheels on my car. The rears had the huge by large tires, the front had the tall skinny tires that were the rage way back then.
While I admit the car did look bad ***, the tires hit the OAI scoops. Lucky for me I caught it before it really tore it up.
If you like the old school big and little look with the OAI system, you need to modify the scoops.
Nice mod Mike.
Take a front end quartering view pic so we can see the scoops and red wells.
Did you get a Parts Place dual snorkel?
We gota meet up so I can see it in person and take those other parts off your hands (June)...Will we ever get a summer!?!

The air cleaner base came from a Fusick scratch and dent sale on EBay.
Yeah, Hopefully it stops raining soon but it's not looking good. The 10 day forecast still sucks. It's mostly rain and the temp is barely breaking 70.
I'll see what's half way. The Log Cabin or Canandaigua Wegmans are probably the best places
