Yep, years ago. These were taken in 2017.

Is the second one down Jimmy's (WTHIRTY1) feature restoration car from our forum? Looks like it.

Yes, it looks like the same number "855" dealer service tag hanging from the rear view mirror as in Jimmy's restoration thread. Well, that beautiful restoration got to retire to Texas. And those lucky Texas folks got one beautiful, awesome car. Better than a new one in 1970 IMO!

I NEVER miss this show. People fly into Ohare and attend. It's THAT good. I have a trick with the valet parking too. PM me if you want to know about it. Makes attending smooth as a W-31's torque curve. I attend on Saturday night arriving at about 5:30PM. The show closes at 8 so the crowds dwindle to nothing by then. Perfect for getting good photos. Nobody in the way! I wait for the, "The show is closing please head for the exits" announcement to know when I'll be kicked out. 2 hours with uninterrupted sight lines is easily enough to get through. What a show!

P.S. A real treat is to go late on Sunday when they're moving all these 1000 point Musclecars to their trailers a few blocks away. It's an amazing sight as they exit.

Read this on their description…
A newly designed set of cylinder heads, designated #6, are also part of the W-31 package and are exceptionally rare”
Now we’ll be paying extra for regular ol’ 6 heads.

‘They’re also having a special class for the ‘65 442’s as they hit 60yrs old this year.
I really wanted to bring one of my ‘65’s…but was unfortunately turned down.
Only 4-5 owners signed up.

You have too many nice cars. I have less. You must give me at least one of yours. I choose the Rallye. Thank you.

Hey, if we're going for classic car communism, say thank you correctly. "Spasiba, tovarisch."

You're not talking to me, right?
Only one of those cars is actually "nice".
The others...just are.

Thanks for the exit video, it was very cool. All the beautiful stockers rolling out looked like the staging lanes of an F.A.S.T./Factory Stock race!
