Trying to sort out a good time to meet up? I am thinking the host hotel bar? Maybe Thursday say 4ish??? I know Friday maybe out for most due to judging and the race event in the evening.
Cfair, I’ve attended for the last 2 years without a car and everything is open and free.
I kinda wish they would do something for the folks coming without an entry.
Maybe I’m missing something?
But I’ll be there as well.
Just got flights, car & hotel to attend 9th through the 12th.
I’m not an OCA member, so I’m unaware about ticketing and so on.
Anything I need to do to check out the show field and swap meet?
Also, would be pleased to meet you all in person if something gets arranged.
Thanks
Chris
There's no fee for spectators or for buyers in the swap meet. The entrance fee is for the venue for the car show, awards, insurance, etc. As a spectator, you really aren't getting any of that anyway.

Chris we have about 5-6 to people that have said that they are coming to the host hotel "Dewberry 1850 restaurant and lounge on Friday about 3PM. ish??? at least half are judging. And if we are short people to judge then be patient we will get there. I have heard that over 300 cars were registered.
68 Cutlass….the swap meet is part of the set up. It starts when the private vendors arrive, and ends when they leave.
You can walk the swap meet from Wednesday-the end of the show.
Last year I walked the swap meet several times and saw new stuff each day.
This year you will definitely walk through the swap meet several times... it will be laid out between the hotel and show field.
Not necessarily a bad idea.. imo. prob save a few steps..
Is there a backup plan for the race at Kil Kare? Mother Nature is such a vicious bitch. Looks like rain.
If there will be no race, I’ll probably just drive the car. If the weather cooperates, I’d prefer to trailer it and save the west/tear on the drag radials. If there is no race to attend, no point in worrying about either, I’ll just drive the car on regular tires.
