Replacing Water Pump

Is it worth spending the extra dollars for a heavy duty pump for a stock 455? They seem to be about double the price of a standard replacement and also hard to find...everybody I call has to special order. Just figured since I was going to do it might as well install a HD pump but I'm beginning to wonder if it's worth the trouble.

First I have heard of a heavy duty water pump. I know they make 3 different length water pumps. one for ac equipped cars that has a long neck and two others with shorter necks and the only way to get it right is to take your old one in and compare it to the one you are buying
