I’m putting struts and shocks on my sister-in-laws 2012 Chevy Traverse. Pretty straightforward, other than all the stupid plastic push pin style clips that holds shrouding in place.

I noticed the front wheel stud all have paint dabs on the ends. Wondering what’s up with that? Way to identify vendors? Inspection marks? It’s like that on both sides, just kinda curious what the marks mean.

I work in a Big 3 factory. Every paint/marker mark on a part means something to someone. Just kinda curious what this means.
