What color code red is my car
I need to mix some paint before I go home today for a little project I am working on. What is the GM paint code for a bright red 66 Cutlass.

Bright red? '66 red is Target Red (RR). Never considered it "bright" red. I've always liked it because I considered it to be a bit flat, and not so bright. Guess it is "in the eye..........."

I was refering to it as opposed to the maroonish red they also made. I agree its not bright compared to a lot of other reds.

Do you need the PPG/Ditzler code? Target Red is 71472.
