Eric, you are going to be the only one of us that sold a car to Jay Leno. It is certainly a Jay Leno caliber car.

Maybe Jay Leno's Garage but I will wait to see. In any event it has to be a great experience to meet Jay and have your car in his garage. Congrats.

Ya, that white haired guy might have passion for cars but without a pot to **** in!

I hope your car is to be featured in a segment of Jay’s show. You have an uncommon and great example of a notable innovation in automotive history.

A little more details... I am not good in front of the camera and the topic changed fast during the filming. Looking back, I don't think the details will be as good as I had hopped for but it is still going to be fine. The good thing is that it will bring some great coverage of the model itself and that was the goal I wanted to accomplish. I did not get to go for the ride with Jay that most people get to go on because I am not vaccinated but that actually worked to my advantage later. It was the filming companies policy that we could not ride together over the vaccination, not his. The film company had us all tested the day before and all was clear so the vaccination policy is strictly political for them. It affected the video since I could not be in the ride along but what happened later was SO WORTH IT!!!! The film crew was gone and at this point I am a guest of Jay and not part of the filming crew. We were loading up and about ready to head out and Jay rolls out his 1907 White stem car. He asked if I wanted to stick around because they were going to fire it. After the steam pressure started building he ask if he could take my family for a ride around the Burbank airport. We jumped in and all 5 of us went for a ride. About half way around, the flame for the steam generator backfired and started loosing steam pressure. We ran out of steam and stopped. He had me get out and "blow out the flame" to get it to fire in the correct place. After a few attempts he had to come down and we both were working on it. After about 10 minutes we had it generating a little steam and limped it back to the garage on low steam pressure. I had been talking to Jay earlier about my fascination with steam but know little about it. I think between that and the fact I was not able to go for the ride along in the Jetfire he wanted to do this for us. Such an amazing experience!!!

This is the car we went out in

Not sure I can answer that completely. He called me about two weeks after the Olds Nationals.

I have never had pay TV. This is going to be on the You Tube channel. If it is on the CNBC show I would not know unless someone tells me. I suspect this will be a short video. He was filming a super bowl ad the same day and was juggling us both for a while. That is ok though, We got to ride in the 1907 steamer

Just got home! 4800 miles round trip pulling a trailer. Sure was fun but good to be home!!! I will not comment to much more about being there till the video is released but this is how the trip went for the most part.

Left Brazil Indiana and got to Oklahoma City to meet a guy that bought a Jetfire turbo setup from me. Finished out the first 17 hour day getting to Amarillo Texas. Day 2 was driving to Kingman AZ with a quick stop at Two Guns AZ to check out the old Route 66 road side attraction that has been abandoned. Also explored the Apache Death Cave.
Day 3 was driving to Lake Havasu and London Bridge to meet a guy buying a truck load of old Honda ATC 70's from me. Then off to Barstow California.
Day 4 was going direct to a Covid testing facility in LA they set me up with and got tested. The took the trailer and Jetfire to his garage. We did not have the test results back yet so they told me I had to leave till morning. Jay walked right up to me and shook my hand and was very kind from the start. Then off to Santa Monica Pier and hung out for about an hour and then drove to see the Hollywood sign and back to the Hotel.
Day 5 was filming and hanging out in the garage and with Jay off and on. He was also filming for a commercial you will all see soon enough. I am not allowed to post pictures of that till after the commercial airs. I only took one anyway.
Day 6 was driving to Kingman AZ and dropped the car and trailer off at a GREAT customer of ours for a couple days. Then drove the the little "ghost town" of Oatman AZ. Such a really cool place! Then back to Kingman
Day 7 we drove to Las Vegas and cruised down the strip and stopped at the Strat. Met a guy buying 62 Cutlass parts from me. Went inside and the entre place reeked of pot. Signs everywhere saying it was not allowed on the property but the signs obviously didn't work. The entire inside of the building was nasty. We were going to let the girls ride a couple of the rids at the top but we all couldn't stand the smell and left. Talked to a lady that worked there and she said it is always that way and something has to be done. I told her they lost my business over it. We left and went to Hoover dam for several hours and then back to Kingman.
Day 8 we picked up the trailer and headed to Grand Canyon via Route 66 from Kingman to Williams AZ. Some really cool places along that route. Made it on time to watch the sun go down at the Canyon.
Day 9 we checked out the Canyon more and then drove to Albuquerque NM.
Day 10 got to Amarillo and stopped at the Cadillac Ranch and then to The Big Texan Steakhouse. Then drove a couple more hours till the snow got us enough it was to slick to be out pulling a trailer.
Day 11 (today) drove from Erik Oklahoma 13 hours to home........ I am pooped

Great road trip.No mishaps!

Everyone that interacts with Jay says he's a class act. Regular car guy.
Loved watching him interact with Tim Allen on Last Man Standing. Another huge car guy. Not a bad gig for a retired comedian

Anyway thanks for sharing with the CO community and letting us live vicariously through your awesome experience.

This car will make an appearance soon. I am not supposed to post where till after the fact. They used crushed diamonds for the metallic in this paint.
