Wow !!! I have to say I don't remember most of those commercials however I do remember the Merry Men of Oldsmobile jingle music in the background and I have to admit until seeing that one commercial I totally forgot about the buzzer alarm telling you, you left your keys in the ignition !!!

How truly goofy advertising was back then.

Ha ha ha. I thought the same thing. I knew someone with a 67 Delmont. Thing was huge. Great history right there. Remember when women were women? The 68 ads got me right away. Love a girl in sequins. What happened to the world.
I love the early roll bar camera angle up Pikes Peak in 66 too. All the ads are cool. The 71 Cutlass in that lime green looks so good. I had a 71 442 that came that color. It was black when I got it. I wouldn't have gone back to that green. Looked good there though. No top. SS-2's. All of the Supreme's look great.

My Grandfather had a 1968 Delta 88 2 door. He sold my Dad (rather than trade it in) his beautiful 1957 Olds Super 88 to buy that 68 Delta 88. About 6 months after buying it he moved from Chicago to PHX AZ. Thats what started the Chicago to Az. migration for my family.

Yes, the Youngmobile Girls! Although not a commercial, speaking of the Youngmobile years, and owning a '67 myself, this ad captures the whole late 60's muscle car scene for me!
