Where do you buy the accessory headbolts as used on the first generation of oldsmobile engines? Thanks. Ron

Only way I know is to get them from another engine with similar accessories. In the case of, say, AC brackets for a 55 that may not be easy.

Can you safely use studs? Would they seal against the head like a old head bolt? There are shoulders that seem to assist in sealing and centering the bolts. Recommended section to place the ad for 1st engine parts? Thanks ron

It would help if you would post your location. Some of us hoard these things and might send you some if we knew where you are.

Is this for a AC car, if not 2blu442 on this site has parted out a couple of 55-54's and probably has those fasteners. Good guy to do business with if shipping isn't to far....Tedd

North dallas area. For a/c factory bracket - 1st gen engine. Used will be fine but this is not reproduced? How does aftermarket mount a/c compressors?
