Good stuff Dave, thank you for posting.

So far only skimmed article, but I see they touch on plenty. Glad to see the 66 Toro getting its due. As well as the 76 Cutlass S, which is slowly but surely becoming one of my favorite Oldsmobile body styles of all time.

I had a run in with one of those back in 1988 - literally. Guy went through Yield sign and ran into 5 of us that were cycling. Said he saw us on his left but didn't think we were going that fast, looked right and no cars were coming so he went. I got broadsided and was a hood ornament until he hit the brakes and dumped me into the middle of the intersection. I'll never forget the nose of that car, it's permanently etched in my mind - and temporarily on my right leg. Afterwards I joked with my friends that at least I wasn't run over by a VW bug.

Good article, thanks!

I was interested to discover the first-gen Rocket ran through the '66 model year, as I always thought '64 was its swan song.

I learned something new. I had a 76 Supreme with he squared off header & grilles, didn’t realize they made the “slopey” type upper nose for the “S” the same year.
