I've been searching for the dealership that started my obsession with Oldsmobile. My dad bough a 1973 Oldsmobile Omega hatchback since I play drums and needed a way to get them to school and gigs. I can't believe he was talked into the "More powerful motor" for A/C. A Rocket 350 with a 4 barrel, I was 13 and knew I'd be driving in 2 years so I just nodded at the time of purchase. Needless to say it took a beating with my sister crashing it into the house mistaking the gas pedal for the break pedal, across the lawn straight up the front stairs and into the house. Tires dug a patch out of the front lawn as it took off all the way to the steps..Once out of the body shop I was able to drive it. For a kid that learned on a '63 Chevy Impala 6 cylinder it was a race car.
Finally found two pictures 1. 1955 and 2. 1980s. The dealership was Fairfax Oldsmobile Motors and Farrish Oldsmobile in Fairfax VA. Not that anyone cares just maybe someone grew up in that area as well.
