Hey imc, here in Michigan you can go on the Secretary of State website and see what combinations aren't already taken, Mine on my Cutlass convertible are NOTA442 and I used to have NOTASUV on the Vista before I sold it.

My grandfather retained all his plates and resided here in Indiana. I run two old cars, soon to be 3, on year of manufacture Indiana plates. I found my original registration for my Monte Carlo in 72, and I put the car's original plate back on it.

plates

I have a 65 cutlass 330 4 speed dual exhaust 4bbl carb car. It has an original 1965 Missouri plate that ends with 442. I do not try to pass it off as a 442, but get a lot of attention because of how it was equipped. Missouri was able to license this plate to my car.

1965 Personal Plate

I have these on my 1965 442. Took advantage of the new Legacy plates in CA for the original look. Tried to get them to follow the original plate numbering TRU 442, but was still in the system. So I went with this play on words. I think the true Oldsmobile lovers will get it.

A bit hard to see, but this is the plate issued to my parents when they moved to Washington State in 1971.

Here is what you do when your province won't let you put your family name on your license plate. He lives here in Melville, saw him drive by the other day.

I also have them in CA plates. Even though the car is long gone, I transferred them to my truck.

Yes, and it doesn’t count as one of the letters. Ditto with a space.
