hurst olds vin

Looking to buy a 83 hurst olds , with built 403, looks shady, vin decodes as a 6 cylinder Calais 1G3AK4798DM423191, can anyone tell me if this is a real hurst 442?

says 9 should be the 8th digit..9 is the 7th in your VIN Luke

Unless the post was changed, the VIN is correct showing the 9 engine code as the 8th digit and the 10th digit "D" represents year 83...
