Very cool car! I think Dodge did a much better job of the retro Challenger than GM did with the Camaro. JMO

I agree 110%. GM was going in the right direction with the last refresh but on the Camaro but so many proportions are wrong and they went uglier again this last time.

This actually is the second one we have owned, we traded in the 2010 Stone White SE, it got so many compliments. This one drives even better than the 3.5/5 spd auto and that combo performed very well at highway speeds.

Well my Wife actually polished this car yesterday instead of driving the wheels off it. You can tell fishing season hasn't started yet😁. Just over 62,000 KM, only the horn didn't work from new, almost 0 issues. Mileage is 35+ Imperial in warm weather, 30 highway in Winter, 20 in town. It gets close to 25 mpg towing the boat and does it effortlessly. Still has original tires but planning on getting these next month. Of course one Michelin was getting bald, just shows my Wife's foot reacts quicker than traction control or AWD😎. My Daughter's Boyfriend suggested using colour match paint on the little GT on the tire, I like that idea.

I'm another one digging the Challengers. Dodge nailed the design. I was debating buying one in the next year but decided to put the money into an engine rebuild instead. Enjoy yours!

I'm an Old Olds guy and the count down to retirement as begun ( 11 months) so at Christmas time I gifted myself-special ordered a 2021 Challenger 392 Wide body. Ordered it the way I wanted White Knuckle exterior ( almost went with green) with the Alcantara interior and Harmon Kardon sound system. Wife and I just love this car in many ways.. Hope you have many years of enjoyment with your new ride...

The GT is a great all year round touring car, AWD, decent power, handling, R/T brakes and great mileage for a 4000+ car. Plenty of room compared to the GM and Ford pony cars. It is a big part why my Olds will need OD and at least 3.42 gears, probably 3.90 gears😁. I would like a second one but my engine build this year, says it has to wait. The year after, paint and body work and paint the next year. Dodge is keeping these till 2023 but is already planning to keep this model like the Ram Classic trucks, if sales stay strong. I will be keeping a close eye and buying a second one from Dodge with all the options and the colour we want before they are gone.

Gorgeous car. We are kind of thinking White with the Alcantra interior as well for the next one. Our last Challenger was Stone White, if it wasn't for the POS 3.5 V6, we would still own it.

I got to drive a couple of Hellcats on the Bondourant race course a while back.
Handled very well for a heavy vehicle.

They are a lot of fun utilizing today's technologies. You set your driving mode or customize 1. Widebody's come with 305x20's in all 4 corners. Is does take much throttle to brake the rear 305's loose. Or set the line lock and burn baby burn...

Polished it up to help the bugs from sticking this week. We will be driving and towing everywhere to go fishing. The new air filter and cabin filter will be here this afternoon. I also ordered these, our insurance rebate just covered 4 of them.

It's partner in fishing, 2020 Lund Fury 16 foot. All polished up, cleaned inside too. I serviced the Mercury 25 HP EFI 4 stroke. It actually takes the same oil filter as a Ford Escort 1.9L. I used 2L of our Coop Sonic 5W50 full synthetic Marine approved oil. I left the NGK plugs in, pulled one of the 3, looked perfect, only a few hours on them.

Apparently, the under hood needed a cleaning😊. My first quick clean up under hood was subpar according to the Boss, a quick spray down with Turtle Wax Ice detailer.

Here is the last of my Turtle Wax Ice liquid applied, too bad it is no longer sold in Canada. I use Ice paste on all the lower plastic, even tires.

I understand your enthusiasm. I bought an SRT8 Challenger in the first year of the Plum Crazy color (2010), which I loved as a kid.

I enjoyed the 6-speed manual in my Vista Cruiser so much that I got that in the Challenger as well. And then added the pistol grip for a bit of nostalgia.

We use ours as a GT. It's supremely comfortable, great sound system, with lots of luggage space. We'll take it on three long trips this year... Olds Nationals, HS reunion, and San Diego vacation. It gets about 22 mpg (US) on trips.

It's what GM could have made as a modern 4-4-2.

I agree, it is a modern replacement for our Cutlass/442. Nice car.

I am very tempted to pick up a second GT in White Knuckle with the Blacktop package.

Good thing SGI sent us nearly $1000 in rebates because I just spent $991 and change for all 4 tires with all the raping fees. Maxtour LX GT tires for my Challenger GT😉

Nice Scat Pack. That Green is almost the same as my 70S Sherwood Green. These tires are 101 V rated, good for towing and how my Wife drives😁.

Doing an oil change today, again full synthetic Mobil 5W20 this time, CT had a great deal I could not pass up, less than $5 a Liter. Right at 40%, lowest we have let it go was 38%, I believe. Less than 10,000 km and a lot of towing. Usually that equals 10 to 11,000 Km. We have been averaging around 20 mpg Imperial towing our boat at 110 km an hour. If we do the speed limit around 25 mpg. Mixed driving, averaging 30 mpg and mid 30's pure highway. I also really like the Turtle Wax Ice, great on any car, modern cars with plastic trim, even better. Heck you can put it on tires👍.

I've had oil analysis done for my Challenger for 5 changes and found the oil lasts about 20,000 km before the additive package begins to run low. This is with mostly 110 to 130 kph driving. The car's oil change reminder lights up every 5000 km.

I was motivated because the Hemi with oil cooler and filter takes 8 quarts. With USD12 per quart oil, that gets expensive.

At the price you pay for Mobil1, and having a less-thirsty V6, this may be a moot point for you. But it's good reference information if you ever need to extend your change interval for any reason.

That is amazing even for synthetic oil. Yeah, for the cost, I will continue with current regime. I checked both diffs but have not touched the ZF-8 since a scan tool is necessary and there is a level sensor. Looks like the same for the Borg and Warner Transfer Case, a sensor just below the fill plug, so I didn't pull the plug.

I have been putting on 245 km on multiple trips on Regular 87 10% ethanol gas, I was averaging low to mid 34 mpg. I added 3/4 tank of 91 non ethanol Premium gas and got these numbers. It is a good 1/2 to nearly 1 mpg over Regular, same conditions. I am testing one more tank of Premium, see if I gain anymore.

Ethanol has 2/3 the energy of gasoline. So gas with 10% ethanol theoretically gives away 3.3% fuel mileage.

That matches your economy improvement numbers

I agree, the nearly dollar per US gallon more is the killer for Premium here. This car would actually get more like 37 mpg Imperial, 30+ US mpg combined if all our highways were 110 km/hr, getting away with the ideal 117 to 120 km/hr(75 mph) for ideal mpg. The RCMP basically allow a good 10 km/hr per hour over the speed limit, much over that, expect a ticket. With the ZF 8 spd, 3.07 gears and 29.1", it crawls around 1400 rpm at 60 mph. Probably has to do with being below 1500 to 4000 3.6 Pentastar's torque band.

Today, slowed it down slightly on the way back, cops tend to need less reason on the end of a long weekend.

Well, the best mileage so far on 10% ethanol 87.
