Looks like a decent buy, but those gauges would be the first thing to go. Could he have picked a less appropriate place to put them?

 

Not a Jetfire motor (and not advertised as one) but that's the turbo and carb setup from an early carbureted Turbo V6 Buick. Clever adaptation (well, except for that airbox and hole in the hood). Not sure if it actually runs or what was done to the motor to live with the turbo.






Here's that turbo setup in it's native environment.

 

I'll bet money that car isn't a factory 4 spd. Looks like a converted automatic to me.
