ID of found parts

Anyone know where these shims came off? I was stripping the firewall on the 71' 442. They weren't there when I started but when I was cleaning up for the night I found them on the floor boards and didn't notice them fall. Possibly break pedal or steering column?

Trying to keep things organized so when I reassemble nothing is left in the extra pile. This post will most likely be ongoing as I pull the rest apart so the body can get sent out.

Looks like steering column. Mine had those and i removed them to get more room between steering wheel and my legs.

Ok thanks, I'll mark them accordingly. I picked up a tilt wheel column with a cruse control
signal lever and sport wheel for this car a while back and I have one for the Cutlass as well. I know exactly what your talking about I hit my legs on the Cutlass wheel every time I get out of the car.
