There was a lot on discussion on these cars on FB a few weeks ago. Supposedly the Buick is a documented Motion car. I asked if the 68 W30 could be too and someone (I think it was Tweed), said the Motion car was returned to Oldsmobile after it was campaigned and sold as a used car so they didn't think this was it.

This guy was the king of "I'm going to get to it someday"

Future Documented W30 on Barrett-Jackson....lol

It doesn't even look like this one's been opened:

I'm not ashamed to say that my estate auction will look a lot like this one...

At least I am now working on the 69 H/O, so "someday" does get here eventually.

Mark, I care if all this stuff was crushed after I'm gone. If I can't use it I hope that someone else could. Isn't that the whole point?

25 years ago a work colleague was selling a piece of property in lower west Upstate, NY. When I inquired about the asking price he said and I quote "I'd never sell it to you, I like my neighbors and you would have the place loaded with junk cars before you even closed on it!" I laughed and said "that might be the most accurate statement I've ever heard come out of your mouth."

Point is, if I had the room I'd be right there with you guys.

luckily i have a building big enough to keep the good stuff under cover..

i am always rotating inventory..and over the decades, if i get better stuff..i keep it and move the lesser stuff..usually they become parts cars..

i was being obnoxious about "who cares" ( i know, its not like me)...when im gone there will be an auction im sure..and all the scrappers will be there too..

im giving most of my stuff away before i die..unless its untimely..and i have a plan there too...its all figured out......

but i am in process of getting down to the cars i love...ive sold a few...and believe me..i dont sell many cars..never have..unless i am desperate and ready to be homeless...

on the other hand..and as a realist..everything is for sale...im just not interested in selling...does that make sense?
