Is the Plastic Sleeve for the Seat Back Locking Pin Available?

On the folding seat back bench seats there is a white thin-walled plastic sleeve 3/8" to 5/16" diameter that keeps the locking mechanism from rattling on the pin. It that available anywhere or has anyone found a source of touch sleeve or tubing material that will work for this?

Sorry I tried to edit the title to read Seat Back, but it looks like the site doesn't allow that...

Fixed it.

As for the sleeve, the large drinking straw is a great idea. McMaster Carr also sells a variety of sleeve materials, but the minimum order size likely makes that very expensive.

Thanks for changing that Joe. I already checked them, but didn't find anything yet. That's when I realized that people here usually have come up with some good idea. Likes straws :-)

I like the idea Johnny, but is a large drinking straw made of a material that is tough enough to stand up to the wear? It seems they could have an even thinner wall thickness than the original sleeve?

McMaster Carr P/N 8628K52, nylon tubing, 3/8" OD, 5/16" ID, 1/32" wall, about $3 for a five foot piece.

Also, PVC sleeving in various diameters with about 0.025" wall. 5/16" is P/N 1508T28, 3/8 is P/N 1508T31

Our local hardware store stocks plastic tubing in various sizes. Good luck.

Thanks for all the good ideas, but especially Joe for just the right choices except I found the closest match is the next size up. 1/2 OD and I like that it's white like the original, maybe a bit too big of a wall thickness. If I get the nylon sleeving I get a the right 0.025 wall thickness and black color which makes more sense in terms of how it will get dirty in time... I think I'll try both options I think a red straw would have looked a little off :-)
