Dealer zone codes

FYI...Found this website when trying to decode a Protect-o-plate today.

Shows dealership zone and number codes for USA.

Even though I have my window sticker with the dealer code, and dealership name, I entered just the dealership name along with the city and state. No match found. so, the don't have all of them. TK65 has a boatload of Olds dealerships and codes.

I believe the primary concentration or concern with the NCRS site is for Chevrolet dealerships, even though there may be dealerships listed for non-Chevy businesses. I just listed the Olds dealership for my '69 4-4-2 as it wasn't there. I have the name and address of the dealership for my '68 4-4-2 (I don't have the dealer code) but it wasn't on the NCRS site.

yeah, i wondered if that would be a problem. alot of dealerships were Chev/Olds while Oldsmobile was in still in production. Did the Olds half of the dealership have a different number?

Comparing my list to the Chevy, Pontiac and Buick lists is Olds had their own zones and dealer numbers and they dont cross reference.

I did enter the dealership number and name on the NCRS site and they took it. I suspect they are interested in developing as big a data base as they can, including non-Chevy dealerships. I know the dealership I entered had only Oldsmobiles.

just entered dealership name "CMP" and it came up with the two in Calgary, AB. that still exist today.
FYI...when i entered the same name and its location the database found nothing.
simple searches seem to work best.
